Concrete floors

The electricians, plumbers, and HVAC have been in working a lot. The electricians have pulled most of their wiring through but still have more to do. The HVAC guys still have to come in and finish up too. The concrete floors were stained and sealed today and they look really sharp. We are hoping it will be an easier flooring to keep clean and sanitary.
The framing is done and the electrical work is coming right along.

Framing

The framing started on Tuesday and is moving along quickly. They should be finished with framing tomorrow. It makes us more and more excited every day to see all the progress they are making on our building. I am sure the workers aren't too happy with us. We seem to make our way over there every day, a couple of times a day, and try to rush them along. This is in the back right corner where the kennels and storage room will be.
This is the front right side of the waiting area and the room that to the right the exam/consult room.
The left side is some exam rooms and looking straight ahead will be the reception area. Where the ladder is will be the reception desk.
Same exam rooms
This is a picture taken from the back of the clinic. Exam rooms are to the right in this.
We hope things will continue the way they are going and keep running smoothly. The electricians and plumbers are coming in when the framing is done. The HVAC will come in on Monday.

Our logo is here!

We finally got our logo back today! It has taken a little bit more time than we expected, but at least it's done now. Now we are starting to look a little more official! Ha, ha!

AND, here is our flyers...

Drilling concrete and plumbing

This probably won't look like much work has gone on. BUT, just for the record, we are posting it. The plumbers came in the first of the week and drilled the concrete out where our plumbing goes. We passed off the plumbing inspection through the city. They will come in and fill the concrete back up tomorrow. Framing is scheduled for this coming Monday. The rectangle that is dug out is where our scale is going. They dug it out so it will be level with the floor. The dogs won't have to step up, they can just walk straight onto it. Pretty snazzy!
They dug this out so all our our electrical stuff for the front desk can be in the floor.

More pipes, drilling and some happy workers!

New construction

The new construction on our new building has officially started! Our general contractor is Lance Hannig with Hannig Construction. We both feel really good about his work and know that he will try to move things forward as quickly as possible. We are hoping that it only takes 2 to 2 1/2 months to finish. Our estimated grand opening is sometime in February of 2009. We will keep you updated as time progresses.

Thanks again for your continued support! We sincerely appreciate your nice notes, phone calls, concerns, etc. Due to the circumstances, we are both doing well and working things out the best that we can. We are still here to help you out in any way that you need and want you to be taken care of. We are more than willing to come to your homes or have you come to our homes for any service you may need for the time being. Please don't hesitate to call us at anytime!

City approval

Our plans were approved through the city today. We are really excited for that! Our new clinic will be located in the Festival Plaza by Costco and Sportsman's Warehouse. The address is 3050 East 969 South B - 1A. It is in the corner of the plaza right next to Lucky Buffet. Feel free to drive by and take a peak and check out our progress. There is no construction going on right now, but it will start soon. The clinic will be 4,000 square feet, have a large waiting room, 5 exam rooms, treatment area, surgery room, lab, quarantine room, radiology room, staff office, pharmacy, etc. Stay tuned...

Our clinic is on the left of this picture and Lucky Buffet is on the right behind the palm trees.

A view from the parking lot, you can see Lucky Buffet on the right and we are to the left of that. There is a breezeway in the middle that will make it easier if you park in the back of our clinic. There is another parking lot back there.

You will find us straight forward in the middle left.

Thanks

First of all, we would like to tell you how much we appreciate your support. We have received so many phone calls of concern, compliments, etc. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Thanks for taking the time to call us to find out where we are and what is going on.

We are still in town, just without a building for a little while. However, we are trying to find a space temporarily before we open the new clinic. We will update you when that time comes. We are still here to serve you and your pets. We will do what we can to provide the care you need at this time. Please feel free to call us directly or leave a comment with your name and number so we can contact you. We would love to hear from you!

Our new Clinic is going to be opening in February of 2009. It will be in the Festival Plaza by Costco and Sportsman's Warehouse. You can check here to see our building in progress and other news or events. We will keep it updated as much as we can.

Thanks again for all of your support!
